Terms of use and sale — effective October 8, 2026

1. The service
Memotale lets you record memories out loud, have them transcribed, dated, placed and written by artificial intelligence into a chronological book, then share that book with invited relatives.
2. Account
Access requires an account (e-mail, Apple or Google). You are responsible for its use and must be at least 16 years old.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of your recordings, texts and photos. You only grant us the right to process them to provide the service. You confirm you have the consent of the people you record or whose image you publish, and you agree not to upload unlawful content. Reported content may be hidden or removed.
4. Artificial intelligence
Passages are written by AI from your words. Despite our safeguards, a transcription or dating error remains possible: review and correct your passages; the original voice stays available. Generated images are illustrations, not real photographs.
5. Plans and prices
- Free: 1 book and 2 memories, free family reading for life.
- Premium: yearly or monthly subscription, with allowances described in the app.
- One-off packs: illustration or narration credits, non-refundable once used.
Prices shown on this website are indicative; the applicable price, taxes included, is the one shown by the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Purchases are made and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal, from your store's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Without an active subscription, your books stay readable, shareable and exportable; only new recordings and generation are blocked.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules: Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, Google via Google Play Help. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, by accessing digital content immediately you agree that performance starts before the withdrawal period ends, within the limits of applicable law.
8. Deletion
You can delete a book or your account at any time from the app. Deleting the account does not cancel the store subscription: cancel it from your store as well.
9. Liability
The service is provided with care but without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Our liability is limited to the amounts paid in the last twelve months, except for gross negligence or mandatory law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
